Engineering-Service Assisted Integrated Learning

Project E-SAIL is designed based on the societal needs. The key being "Service to public", where teams of undergraduate students would design, build, and deploy real systems to solve engineering-based problems for local community service and educational institutions to provide students with this hands-on multi-disciplinary learning experience in liaison with the curriculum.

E-SAIL works upon 4 broad spectrums namely:

  1. Agriculture Management
  2. Disaster Management
  3. Health Care Management
  4. Water Management

Principal Investigator

E-SAIL is an initiative to expose the engineering students of our campus to societal issues of relevance. It is felt that the responsibility of academic institutions is to mold the students to be socially responsible in addition to equipping them with engineering knowledge. We feel our initiative, over a while, will make simple yet significant impacts on society.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.
