At School of Engineering and Technology, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), students are given privilege to opt for a Minor or a Honours degree in the Emerging Areas listed by the respective departments and shall come into effect from academic year 2020-21.

Student can opt a Minor or an Honours Program but not both and once opted will not be allowed to change the respective Minor or the Honours track until their completion. Minor courses would commence form 3rd semester and continue till 7th semester and Honours courses would commence form 5th semester and continue till 7th Semester. In both these cases students are required to have an extra 20 credits to reflect as a Minor/Honours degree before graduation.
