Computer Science and Engineering (IoT) is a 4 year, 8-semester Undergraduate program aimed in imparting a firm foundation in computer science wireless communication and computer networks. The program aims to train students with systematic professional knowledge and strong practical skills in the fields of computer technology communications networks and IT that provides a wide range of applications in the Internet of Things.
The program equips students with a strong skill for sensor network design and network planning for IoT. The topics include- Introduction to IoT Understanding IoT in Market Perspective Data and Knowledge Management and use of Devices in IoT Technology Understanding IoT Architecture and the application of IoT in various technologies. These course emphases on to develop the necessary skills for the students to sustain in today’s industrial expectation, in the pursuit of excellence by keeping high personal and professional values and ethics
Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) Examination from any recognised Board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Candidates should have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at Class XII level and obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics.
Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May may apply with their class X and XI marks.
Students pursuing International curriculum must note that
eligibility is according to AIU
stipulations:
Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24
credits.
Applicants pursuing GCE / Edexcel must have a minimum of 3 A levels,
grades not less than C
Lateral Entry:
Candidates who have successfully completed the 3 year diploma in
Engineering are eligible to
apply for lateral entry into engineering programmes.
