Campus Facilities

School of Engineering & Technology at Kengeri campus is equipped with numerous facilities
in pace with fast-changing world, to cater to the needs of students.

AMPHITHEATER
 

Since its opening, the amphitheater has become a cultural and artistic venue for all students, staff, alumni, family members, friends and other community. Students are often seen putting up musical performances and theatrical productions for their peers in the amphitheater, not to mention events on a larger scale.

AMBULANCE
 

The campus has ever ready Ambulance Service responds to medical emergencies on the School of Engineering & Technology campus and within the local community 24x7.

AUDITORIUMS
 

School of Engineering & Technology has two air-conditioned auditorium with total seating capacity of 770 with all modern amenities. One open-auditorium (2400 square meters ) with 2500 seating capacity has a big stage and green rooms with complete state of the art audio and lighting arrangements with moveable seating facility.

BANDSTAND
 

School of Engineering & Technology has two bandstands and is widely used for outdoor classes and discussions and student activities.

TRANSPORTATION
 

A full-fledged transport department functions in the School of Engineering & Technology with buses to provide transport facility to students and staff from various places. This service is offered ensuring a hassle-free and safe transportation.

CAFETERIA & CANTEENS
 

We have four cafeterias and four canteens, with a total seating capacity of 2000, where a variety of tasty, hygienically prepared food is available. Whether it is breakfast, lunch, a quick snack or a cup of coffee, fruit juices, and the canteen is where you need to head. These are conveniently located in the Block- I & IV, nearby Car parking and in Devadhan Hall. These facilities are easily accessible to visitors as well. It is a pleasant sight to see students spread out across the quadrangle and lake view, enjoying their food in groups.

HOSTEL
 

Devadan Hall (Men's Hall - 19240square meters) has an accommodation facility for 980 male students, having a cafeteria with 800 seating capacity. There are twin, triple and four sharing room facility available. Also it has a recreation hall, study hall, washing and open area for drying clothes. Solar power is tapped for hot water and lighting.

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
 

The health centre is manned by a medical officer to provide excellent medical care to all the students, staff and faculty at no cost. The consultation is also provided to the students, members of faculty and staff of the institute. This health centre provides quality health care in a comfortable and confidential environment. In case of emergency, patients are referred to RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital, and is situated on Mysore Road Bangalor

SEMINAR HALLS
 

There are 3 seminar halls having varied seating capacities of 50 to 175. These facilities cater to multiple uses such as meetings of students & faculty members, convocations, presentations, short term training programmes, workshops, conference, expert / guest lectures, cultural activities, celebrations, functions, gatherings etc.

STATIONARY
 

School of Engineering & Technology has two students’ stationery centers each in Block I and IV, functioning in the campus to cater to all the daily needs of the students. Along with stationery, photocopying facility is also provided within the campus for the benefit of the students and staff. Kiosk is a one stop for all student needs from notebooks to slip files, from marker to micro tips. It also provides all requirements of the hostel students from bedding to toiletries and other essentials.

STP WATER TREATMENT PLANT
 

Our institution has Sewage Treatment Plant with the capacity of 3,00,000ltrs per day. Treated sewage water is utilized for gardening purpose.

Induction Programme 

EEP

The Experience Engineering Programme is a kick - starter for all freshers who join School of Engineering & Technology. A one of its kind programme features a talent search, various sessions briefing about each department, multiple industry visits and much more. It is a chance for all freshers to break the ice and to get to know their peers.

Cultural Fest 

Darpan

A novice entry fest for all students irrespective of departments. The fest includes an amalgamation of art, literary, music, dance, and theater events.

Fresher's Day 

Novatos

The official fresher’s programme to welcome the freshers of the UG and PG programmes. In this event, students participate class - wise in the treas ure hunt, junk art, poster making, and a cultural show to thrill the audience. The winning class is given the “Best Class” among the freshers

Celebration 

Teachers Day

A celebration to acknowledge our teaching faculties for their dedicated services. As a token of our appreciation, the students gift the teachers every year. The teachers display their skills and talents to all the students.

Bhasha Utsav

A festival to celebrate the diversities amongst us. Bhasha Utsav is a day where students come in their ethnic wear and display their rich and varied heritages from across the globe. The event commences with a procession followed by a formal programme where the students display various dance forms from their states and countries. The event concludes with the opening of the Dance Floor featuring a DJ.

Tech Fair 

Engineers Day

The annual technical exhibition of our deanery where students display their projects and their ideas. The best project is awarded, and students from other schools and colleges come to visit the projects.

Musical Play 

Christmas Musical Play

A musical play portraying the message of Christmas in an innovative and eye catching way. The story of Christmas is displayed in a humbling yet energetic way.

Cultural Fest 

Blossoms

A fest where students compete department wise for the title of “Best Department” and the events consist of music, dance, art and theatre. The event concludes with a mega dance performance “Dance Extravaganza”

Flagship Event 

Nritta

A journey of movements in the form of dance. Nritta is a celebration of dance where 300+ students perform for more than two hours displaying dances of various forms ranging from Classical to contemporary to Hip - Hop

Christmas Celebration 

Magnificat

Magnificat means ‘my soul magnifies the Lord’. It is a choir fest where various choirs from the University and music groups from outside come and perform to showcase their exuberant style of music during the Christmas Season.

Techno-Cultural Fest 

Magnovite

Magnovite is the annual techno cultural fest hosted by School of Engineering & Technology to celebrate the diversity and integrity of various depart ments of this campus. The event consists of various workshops, and talk by renowned resource persons, technical and non - technical events for students from other colleges to participate. Magnovite features a dance drama called “Nritta”, and a band performan ce by a renowned band every year.

Celebration 

Gratitude Day

The day in our university where we express our gratitude to the non - teaching and teaching staff of our university. The students perform for the non - teaching staff, and gift each of them a token of our apprec iation. It is a day to commemorate each and every effort that the non - teaching staff does for our college.

Milestone 

Convocations

The official graduation function for our deanery. The students who graduate come dressed in their graduation gown. The students walk in a procession which is followed by a formal function, where students receive their certificates.
